Palliative Care, Simply Put
Palliative care is a philosophy of support for patients and families facing a life-limiting illness. It can begin at diagnosis and continue through treatment, end-of-life care, and bereavement. The goal is comfort, clarity, and compassionate presence — not facing the journey alone.
Dying, caregiving, and grieving are among life’s greatest challenges. They deserve care that is steady, human, and free of judgment.
Volunteers at the Heart of Hospice
