Our community cares about you!
During this difficult time, we recognize your courage, sacrifice, and the many challenges that you or your family may be facing. We want you to know that we care and truly recognize the demands that you are, and have been, facing.
CMHA, DCAFS, DAFHT, FTP, Hospice Dufferin, and SHIP are collaborating to provide mental health therapists/counsellors – representing our Dufferin community – for you. We would like to help – even in a small way. If you need emotional support, encouragement, or just someone to talk to about your well-being or your concerns.
Please contact us by email (Frontline@dafht.ca) and include information about your preferred way for us to contact you and times that might work best for you. One of our counsellors will contact you to set up an appointment. This is a confidential service.

Message to Donors
We appreciate that these times are very uncertain financially. As a small charity with no fundraising staff, we hope that you will continue to support us at this time. We know that our services will be needed as a result of this pandemic long after everyone returns to work. Thank you.

What is Visiting Community Hospice?
Hospice Dufferin is a charitable organization. We offer programs from diagnosis to end of life for the clients. We offer support programs for caregivers from illness to bereavement.
Our goal is to help our clients and their families to live life fully despite their diagnosis. Our services address the domains of care developed by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association.
Hospice Dufferin was registered in 1988. The delivery of our programs and services is made possible through the support of a small dedicated staff, many volunteers and generous donors. The government provides approximately 60% of our funding.
