How you can help us!

Palliative Care is a type of care for patients and families facing a life-threatening illness. It can start from the time of diagnosis of a serious illness.  It does not end when someone dies. Family and friends may need support as they grieve the loss of their loved one.   Hospice Care is a philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill or seriously ill person by attending to their emotional and spiritual needs.

Dying, caregiving and grieving are three of life’s greatest challenges that deserve compassionate and caring support.

End-of-Life

Hospice is there for you and your family as you or your loved faces end-of-life. Volunteers are available to offer families respite and some time to sleep or take time for themselves. Staff is there to help the family prepare for the loss.

Life-Limiting Illness

When faced with a life-limiting illness, individuals have many fears and questions. Our staff and volunteers are available to talk.  We have programs so you do not feel socially isolated or alone in your journey.

Bereavement
Although grief is a natural response to a death, it is often misunderstood by others and foreign to the person experiencing it.
