Accountability

Hospice Dufferin works very hard to provide services that are professional and relevant to our clients and their families.

Hospice volunteers and staff are screened including a police vulnerable sector check. Volunteers complete a 30-hour palliative training course. 

Staff complete appropriate training and upgrading according to their discipline.

​Hospice Dufferin staff and volunteers are committed to providing you the privacy of information. It is important for you to understand - what, when and how we do this.

HPCO Accreditated

HPCO accreditation signifies to health professionals, the public and funders that an organization, institution or program is in compliance with industry standards and has been recognized by HPCO based on a rigorous review of overall performance by industry peers.  Accreditation also serves as an indicator of commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
