
At hospice, we are here to help your emotional, social, spiritual and educational needs in your journey for quality of life while living with a life-threatening illness. We support people from diagnosis of a life-threatening illness to remission or end-of-life
Our services include:
- One-on-one Volunteer visiting
- Day Program and Breast Cancer Support Group
- Caregiver Support including caregiver respite by trained volunteers
- Bereavement programs
- Training and Education
- Community Library of educational materials and wigs and hats
Hospice Dufferin was incorporated as a not-for-profit agency in 1988. Hospice Volunteers fundraise 75% of the annual budget with 25% coming from the Central West LHIN. Our services are available at no cost throughout Dufferin County in client's home, hospital or in our facility. How can you help?
